Dublin’s historic neighbourhoods are frozen in time. The same buildings that stood there a century or two ago are still there. Nothing is standing taller that three stories and there is a community vibe. Formerly separate villages, places like Stoneybatter are very charming and while being very quaint, they are also a popular scene for the most trendy among the city’s population.

While I am not hugely interested in all the hypster joints in Stoneybatter, I quite enjoy the general atmosphere of the place. It is very authentic and quite suitable for film photography experiments.
