I love the warm and purple tones of Kodak Gold especially at sunset light. Lucky for me lockdown presented plenty of opportunities to walk around the city and the great weather and late sunsets made for some great walks in search of good light. I developed these more than a month ago, but I was getting a bit bored of photographing the city and I didn’t get too excited about them at the time. However, I just opened the folder today and thought to myself “Dublin is so beautiful in pictures”. I love how I could stop the time and isolate peaceful moments like these, which to anyone living in Dublin would seem to contrast with the day-to-day atmosphere of the city. But this is what I really enjoyed about the lockdown, it gave me a glimpse into Dublin in a different light and it made me connect with it on a deeper level.
