I went back to Ireland after the long summer in Bulgaria and the two months until Christmas went by very quickly. I developed 6 films with pictures from the summer, but I somehow forgot to share them in the blog. Now a couple days after Christmas it is a bit late to share summer images, so I will go with some still life shots I took in my apartment in Dublin last week capturing the holiday mood. For the third year in a row, I bought a cheap pre-made natural wreath from a florist stall on the street, stripped it from the two pinecones and two plastic bows it had on and then transformed it with an assortment of pinecones I had collected on a recent walk in the Dublin mountains. I added some lights and a satin bow which helped the natural beauty of the wreath to shine through.
